Beautiful Handmade Wood Crafts
Welcome to Grán Te
My Story
Hi everyone, my name is Denise and I set up Grán Te meaning “hot grain” because of my love for wood crafting. My friends and family encouraged me to show off my work so here I am. I use a technique called Shou Sugi Ban (burnt cypress) which is the ancient Japanese art of preserving wood with fire. All of my work is handcrafted and every piece is unique due to the variations of the grain. The textures are absolutely stunning and the results are truly one of a kind. If you want a bespoke piece for yourself or a beautiful unique gift for family/friends, click the shop now button or send me a message.
Note: When wood is burnt it tends to crack which is normal using this technique. Unfortunately this cannot be avoided but on the upside it does make the wood stronger and produces beautiful textures.
